SDMC & ITC WoW Facilitate Eswachh with Swachh Sahas Award at Amrit Mahotsav

South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) in Association with ITC WoW organized a mega Amrit Mahotsav. ITC WoW has been working with SDMC from last 4 years in the field of Waste management. The IEC activity by ITC WoW has enabled multiple RWAs to adopt home composting. SDMC is now focusing on source segregation and mobilising the workforce for Zero Waste city. SDMC and ITC WoW has partnered with Eswachh Integrated solutions to implement a contactless waste collection management system.

Multiple RWA who have performed very good on Home composting and community composting were rewarded with trophies and certificates. Safai Mitras, Volunteers and NGOs working in the space of waste management were also rewarded.

Products made from waste and home composters were displayed at various kiosks setup by NGO and local RWAs

Eswachh was also awarded with Swachh Sahas Award at this occasion for working in the field of waste management.
